Professional Experience

A partner of Pintó Ruiz & Del Valle, joined our firm in 1998. She is widely experienced in civil and criminal litigation in the industrial property field, mainly in connection with third party infringement of rights and the defence of the parties holding those rights. She is highly familiarised with disputes in the trademark, registered or non-registered industrial design and unfair competition areas. Throughout the years, she has represented worldwide leading companies in the cosmetics, textile, jewellery and watch-making industries and has become an expert in the luxury brands market. Eva Ochoa is also very experienced in the implementation, design and maintenance of selective or exclusive distribution networks and franchise and agency contracts, in Spain. Additionally, she is a regular speaker in training courses on the subject of industrial property addressed to Law Enforcement Units, as well as specialisation postgraduate courses. She also writes opinion pieces for major economic publications and has replied to journalists’ questions on Industrial Property in several newspapers, such as Expansión or Deia. Due to her command of several languages she is an active member of international associations such as INTA or APRAM (French Association of Trademark Professionals).
