Professional Experience
Founding partner of Pintó Ruiz & del Valle. Pioneering lawyer regarding the practice of Industrial and Intellectual Property Law in Spain, area in which he has practised for over 50 years. He has a vast knowledge and experience in all sorts of civil and criminal litigation in relation to industrial property in different sectors such as textile, jewellery, watchmaking and luxury in general. Honorary member of the Spanish Group of the AIPPI (International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property), of which he was president for 8 years and secretary for other 8. Within the AIPPI, he took part in the working group which collaborated with the Spanish Government in writing the Trade Marks Act 32/88 and the Patents Act 11/86. Founding member of ANDEMA (Spanish Association for Trademark Defence).
